About the Communications Division

The Administration Department is responsible for coordinating and communicating City information and news to our diverse audience in the most effective manner possible. The Division of Communication and Community Engagement manages both internal and external communications, branding and marketing efforts, media relations, and resident and community engagement.

Communications

The City communicates information regarding city programs and services, City Council actions, city policies and ordinances through several methods. Current city communication vehicles include:

  • Cable television Channel 16
  • Press Releases
  • Videos
  • Presentations
  • Social Media
  • New Resident Packets
  • Media Partners
  • Email/ Text Notifications (General Updates/Emergencies)

In addition, the city produces meeting notices, special bulletins, brochures, and flyers as needed and distributes them to the appropriate audiences. If you have news or ideas to share, please contact us.
