Appointment

The City Manager is the appointing authority for the City of Brooklyn Center.

Probation

Appointments are subject to the successful completion of an established probationary period.

Background Investigation

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation which may include any combination of the following:

Criminal History Check

  • Driving record check
  • Verification of employment history, education, and references
  • Physical examination
  • Drug test
  • Credit check
