Emerging BC is a cohort of Brooklyn Center residents, business owners and community partners who have come together to think innovatively about the framework of systems that impact health, safety, business and access to life essential resources (transportation, housing, food).

Cohort participants learn together, over an 18-month journey, the historical creation of systems, systemic racism within systems and the existence of systems within Brooklyn Center. The journey is to not only address current events with in systems but patterns of behavior, structure and mindsets.
