A utility service/street cut permit is required when a resident or contractor is performing work on a private utility service located within the City right-of-way.
Right-of-Way Permit
Public right-of-ways have long been used to hold public utilities. Sewer, water, and storm sewer pipes are located in the right-of-way along with private utilities such as gas, electric, and telecommunication lines. Any individual or group must have a permit to use the right-of-way. Our new software, iMS, is now available. Apply for Right-of-Way permits online.
Other important right-of-way permit documents include:
- Right-of-way Registration Form
- Right-of-way Permit Fees
- City Right of Way Management Ordinance Section 25-100
- ROW Permit Submittal Requirements
