Sanitary Sewer Utilities

Sanitary Sewer Utility operations provide for the collection and pumping of sanitary sewage through a system of mains and lift stations.

Storm Drainage Utilities

Storm Drainage Utilities provides for the collection of stormwater throughout the City.

• Minimum engineering standards for stormwater conveyance and management

Street Lighting

There are approximately 1,600 street lights located in the City of Brooklyn Center, some that are City owned and operated and some that are owned and operated by Xcel Energy.

• To report a street light that is out and owned by the City, please contact Public Works at 763-585-7100.
• To report a street light that is out which is owned by Xcel Energy, please contact Xcel Energy directly at 800-960-6235 or complete and submit their Online Outage Form.

Water Utilities

Water Utility operations provide for the distribution of water to customers.
