Chaplain Program Meeting

Seeking Community Clergy Assistance

Seeking-Clergy-AssistanceThe Brooklyn Center Police Department seeks to rejuvenate our Chaplain Program. All clergy who live or work in Brooklyn Center are invited to attend an informational meeting at the police department on October 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm. We were awarded a grant that will cover the cost of food and beverages served at this meeting.

Clergy members of our Chaplain Program have historically been included on a contact list and called upon to provide comfort to families going through a tragic or sudden loss. We believe there is immense value in strengthening our relationship with the faith-based leaders in our community. Our goal is to meet with our Chaplain Program members on a regular basis to strengthen our ties with the Brooklyn Center community.

Please attend our first dinner meeting on October 14th at 6:30 pm at the police department, 6645 Humboldt Ave. N, Brooklyn Center. If you plan to attend this meeting, please R.S.V.P. to Detective Chuck Valleau at cvalleau@ci.brooklyn-center.mn.us or (763) 503-3230. We would like all attendees to be included in the count for food and beverages. Within your message to Detective Valleau, please let us know if you have any dietary needs or restrictions.
