Construction and Trades is a career pipeline program for job seekers 18+ who live or attend school in Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, or North Minneapolis in partnership with Hennepin Technical College, Brooklyn Center Community Schools, Minnesota Trades Academy, HIRED, the cities of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center. This program will prioritize and screen for individuals who are minorities, women, and disadvantaged individuals by providing them with pre-enrollment training along with removing barriers that might prevent applicants from enrolling in MnDOT Highway Heavy Training programs.
