The following is a message from Implementation Committee Chair, Mayor Mike Elliott: 

This evening’s meeting of the Implementation Committee’s Expanded Response Workgroup has been cancelled. On Monday, April 25, the City Council approved a resolution to resume in-person meetings. It was my understanding and that of others on the council that this resolution allowed flexibility for boards and commissions that have a need to be remote, but that is not the case — it requires that all meetings after the 25th need to be in person and all members of boards and commissions need to be in person. Given the short notice for today’s meeting, we have no alternative but to cancel this meeting. We will clarify and follow up regarding future Implementation Committee and Workgroup meetings ASAP.
