Brooklyn Center requires the licensing of on-sale intoxicating liquor establishments (club, wine, intoxicating, brewer taproom, brewpub, microdistillery cocktail room) and off-sale intoxicating liquor (brewpub, smaller brewer, and microdistillery) as defined in Chapter 11 of its City Code. The license period is the calendar year January 1 through December 31.

Hours and Days of Sale for On-Sale Licenses
No sale of intoxicating liquor for consumption on the licensed premises may be made between 1:00 am and 8:00 am on the days of Monday through Saturday (Minnesota Statute 340A.504).

A restaurant, club, hotel, brewer taproom, brewpub, or microdistillery cocktail room that holds an on-sale intoxicating liquor license may sell intoxicating liquor for consumption on the premises in conjunction with the sale of food between the hours of 8:00 am on Sundays and 1:00 am on Mondays. An establishment serving intoxicating liquor on Sundays must obtain a Sunday On-Sale Liquor License (Minnesota Statute 340A.504).

Hours and Days of Sale for Off-Sale Licenses
No sale of intoxicating liquor may be made by an off-sale licensee (brewpub, small brewer, or microdistillery) except during the legal hours for off-sale at the City's Liquor Stores.
